Datamax-O’Neil manufactures stationary and mobile printers for use in retail, warehouse and distribution centers, and healthcare worldwide. After this acquisition, Honeywell Scanning and Mobility Technology will further expand its market share in the global barcode printing market of 1.5 billion, expand the printer product line newly added after the acquisition of Intermec, and strengthen the global sales and distribution network to enable 2014 Annual sales are expected to reach 135 million US dollars. Datamax-O’Neil’s printer business is highly complementary to Honeywell’s existing product lines for scanning and mobile technologies, resulting in significant sales opportunities and improved performance for the company.
